We adopted Sunny in October 2010. She had been pulled from the shelter and was living at an area kennel while Charlies Angels Animal Rescue waited for a foster home or a permanent rescue solution could be worked out. Before coming to live with us, all she knew was life at the end of chain in someone’s back yard. She had little human contact, was not housebroken, and it took several months for her to learn that she could trust us. She still doesn’t like riding in the car, but she loves running with her big brother Ace…and considers an open lap as an open invitation to snuggle and get a belly rub.
