Thanksgiving morning proved to be a good day for this 5 month old puppy. She was found in a community dog park by a family who had brought their dogs there for some play time. With no hesitation, the puppy joined up with the pack and chased after tennis balls with the group.
The puppy gained new friends that day along with a new name….Pumpkin. While no one will ever know for certain, it is speculated that Pumpkin may have been left at the dog park intentionally with the hope that a dog-loving family would take her home. The plan worked.
Pumpkin was placed with one of CAAR’s cooperating rescue groups in Pennsylvania. Within days, she was adopted and will be joining her new family before the year ends.
