About Us

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue is a small group of volunteers in Brevard, NC (close to Asheville) with the common bond of the love of animals. The name of our group is in honor of Evelyn Bridges' dad, Charlie Powers. He taught her to love and be responsible for the animals by his example. We also honor Gault Beeson, who raised Champion Field Trial Beagle.Gault loved his beagles and called them "Gault's Angels". Thus the name "Charlie's Angels".

The primary focus of the group is to assist with the rescue of dogs and cats from the local animal shelter.

We strongly advocate that all pets be spayed and neutered. We support our local spay and neuter clinic, operated by N.O.A.H.'s ARC.They can be reached at 828-884-6600 for appointments.

Volunteers are always welcome. There is a special need for foster homes, both long-term and short term. Additional volunteers are needed for transpoting, computer work, taking pictures, making flyers, sending emails, providing financial assistance.
